· Hale Bopp is an extremely bright comet. It is bigger than
Halley’s comet. This was clearly seen from the earth in 1997. Its orbital
period is 1000 years. This comet was discovered by: Alan Hale and Thomas Bopp.
· Comet Hale Bopp is called “Comet of the Century”, “Great come
to 1997”
· Swift-Tuttle is a huge comet on a collison course with
earth on 17 August 2116
